Due to popular demand, we've been on a quest to track down more of these vintage needleworks based on L.S Lowry's famous paintings, set in industrial districts across the northwest of England from the mid-1900s

Lowry developed a painting style of cityscapes with people, often described as "matchstick men" as can be seen in the needlework.

This particular piece has been beautifully framed in a light pine frame. The detail is wonderful and colour palette very pleasing. 

In very good vintage condition, it comes ready to hang.
