‘Pale’ is a chalk pastel drawing of the female form by Scottish artist/illustrator Jessica Bird.

Currently based in London, Jessica has a background in Fashion Design, having studied at Gray's School of Art and subsequently working across design, press and sales for multiple British design houses before becoming a full time artist in 2018. Brightly coloured, chalk pastel and charcoal drawings both of the nude and fashioned figure are the main focus of Jessica's work.

Bird is inspired by interesting colour combinations presented in daily life, often taking photos of something passed in the street to later use as reference whether that be a doorway and flaking paint on a wall, a flower or packaging crates outside a fast food restaurant - inspiration is everywhere.

'Pale' is an A3 giclee open edition print on smooth fine art archival paper, signed by the artist.
