Tokyo based artist Nao Tatsumi was born and grew up in Fukushima before graduating with a degree in Architectural Art Design from the University of Tsukuba.

In 2017 she began a journey using Google Street View to paint landscapes all around the world, presenting them in Hopper-esque compositions with pleasing colour palettes.

This particular piece depicts the Pacific Coast Highway in California. We also stock another of Nao's pieces set in Bernal, a small village in Mexico.
